Sabina Quaicoe

Sabina QuaicoeSabinah comes from the small fishing village of Cape 3 Points. She attends farm whilst on vocation and helps her stepmother to smoke fish, which she sells on the market during the weekend.

Sabinah is determined and confident young woman and is ready to take on the world. She is a fast learner and has improved her English greatly since attending Trinity Yard School. Sabinah has a beautiful voice and always surprises us with a new song during our morning chores that include, sweeping, organising books and fetching water. Sabinah is an outgoing and fun loving person and she enhances the classroom atmosphere with positive energy.

Sabinah is one of our creative students, she enjoys making Art, weaving Kente, producing Batik and beading. As a result of Sabinah’s love for fashion and art, after graduating from Trinity Yard School this June she plans to enrol in a sewing apprenticeship.

Although the cost of each vocational school placement varies, as does the ability of the graduates’ families to contribute, an average placement costs Trinity Yard approximately $1,800 for a typical three-year program (inclusive of tuition, student fees, material costs, food, housing, transportation, etc.).
