Robert Occran

Robert OccranRobert is rarely seen without his trademark grin. He is naturally good at sports and plays for Akwidaa village football team as well as Trinity Yard School volleyball team. He enjoys all subjects particularly Geography, Math and Kente weaving.

Robert lives with his grandmother and helps her at the farm everyday after school. He also learned basic carpentry from his father and sometimes uses them to make money for the family. His skills and ingenuity have made him a valuable asset during our agriculture projects as he can construct and repair absolutely anything.

After graduating this June from Trinity Yard School Robert wants to enter an apprenticeship to become a mechanic.

Although the cost of each vocational school placement varies, as does the ability of the graduates’ families to contribute, an average placement costs Trinity Yard approximately $1,800 for a typical three-year program (inclusive of tuition, student fees, material costs, food, housing, transportation, etc.).
