Robert ArthurRobert is a talented musician. He learned how to play drums at Trinity Yard School when he was a young shine eyed boy, and together with his best friend and classmate Simone he performs in nearby villages and gives drumming lessons to visitors.

Since Robert was 5 years old he was living with his grandmother. To support them financially Robert worked a lot of jobs, like a trotro (local bus) mate, susu collector and as a guide in the Cape 3 Points lighthouse.

Roberts charming personality attracts people, his talent, hard work and determination deserve admiration. Robert isn’t shy to ask questions and is always willing to contribute in class discussions. He enjoys English, Social Studies and Geography.

After graduating from Trinity Yard School, Robert plans to attend Technical School to study Construction and Architecture.

Although the cost of each vocational school placement varies, as does the ability of the graduates’ families to contribute, an average placement costs Trinity Yard approximately $1,800 for a typical three-year program (inclusive of tuition, student fees, material costs, food, housing, transportation, etc.).
